I’m Eric Diaz, a PC technician with over 25 years of experience repairing
and building computers.
NYC PC Giveaway was created to help put quality custom PCs into the hands
of people who may not otherwise be able to afford one.
The project is now community supported. Instead of promising a new PC every month,
we focus on one build at a time.
Once enough support has been raised to fully fund the next PC,
I personally select the parts, build the system,
test it, and get it ready for the giveaway.
When the PC is complete and ready to be awarded,
the free entry period opens.
Supporting the project is always optional. Contributions do not provide entries, additional chances, or better odds of winning.
The giveaway remains open to eligible NYC residents,
and children can participate through a parent or legal guardian under the official rules.
The Mission
This giveaway exists because quality computers have become harder for everyday families to afford. Especially for kids who just want to learn, create, and enjoy gaming. As major tech companies shift their focus toward enterprise and corporate customers, regular people are often left behind.This project is my way of pushing back.By building and giving away custom PCs, I’m helping keep access to technology personal, fair, and community driven, so kids and young creators aren’t locked out of opportunities simply because of cost.

Great PCs are not free to build. Parts, taxes, shipping, payment processing, testing, and fulfillment all cost money.
NYC PC Giveaway is now community supported. Instead of depending on one large sponsor, a few dollars from a lot of people can help make the next build possible.
Once the funding goal is reached, the PC will be built, tested, and prepared for the next free giveaway.
Supporting NYC PC Giveaway is completely optional. Contributions do not provide an entry, additional entries, or better odds of winning. No purchase or contribution is necessary to enter when a giveaway is open.
HOW IT WORKS
NYC PC Giveaway now operates one build at a time.
1. THE NEXT PC IS FUNDED
Community support helps cover the cost of the next custom PC, including parts, taxes, shipping, payment processing, testing, and fulfillment.
2. THE PC IS BUILT
Once the funding goal is reached, the components are purchased and the PC is personally assembled, tested, and prepared for the giveaway.
3. THE FREE GIVEAWAY OPENS
Only after the PC is fully funded and ready to be awarded will the official entry period open.
No purchase or contribution is necessary to enter. Supporting the project does not provide extra entries or improve anyone’s odds of winning.
4. A WINNER IS SELECTED
After the entry period closes, one eligible entrant is selected according to the official giveaway rules.
5. THE PROCESS STARTS AGAIN
Once the winner receives the PC, funding begins for the next build.

Eligibility
Open to residents of New York City’s five boroughs: Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island. Entrants must be 18 or older. A parent or legal guardian may enter on behalf of a minor. Winners agree to public acknowledgment and to being recorded during the giveaway event.
DO I HAVE TO CONTRIBUTE TO ENTER?
No. When a giveaway is open, no purchase or contribution is necessary to enter.
DOES CONTRIBUTING GIVE ME EXTRA ENTRIES OR BETTER ODDS?
No. Supporting NYC PC Giveaway does not provide entries, additional entries, priority, or better odds of winning.
WHEN DOES THE NEXT GIVEAWAY OPEN?
The next giveaway opens after the next PC is fully funded, built, tested,
and ready to be awarded.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE FUNDING GOAL TAKES LONGER THAN EXPECTED?
There is no monthly giveaway deadline. The project remains in the funding phase until the next build can responsibly move forward.
WHO CAN ENTER?
The current plan is for eligible New York City residents. Minors may participate through a parent or legal guardian, subject to the official rules for each giveaway.
ARE CONTRIBUTIONS TAX DEDUCTIBLE?
No. NYC PC Giveaway is not presenting contributions as charitable donations,
and they are not tax deductible.
WHEN WILL THE OFFICIAL RULES BE POSTED?
The official rules for each giveaway will be published before entries open and will include the prize details, eligibility requirements, entry dates, winner selection process, and other terms.
